RESTON, VA - Near Infinity Chief Scientist, Matt Wizeman, will present a case study on the use of Aspect-Oriented Programming in Auditing Applications on Sunday, May 22 at the Northern Virginia Software Symposium.

The symposium, part of the country-wide "No Fluff Just Stuff" series, is designed to cover the latest in trends and best practices in Java software application development.

Wizeman's case study will discuss how developers can use AOP to create drop-in modules that apply consistent auditing rules across all applications in the enterprise without changing a single line of code in those applications.

By describing lessons learned from developing a commercial auditing product, intelliPrints, he will cover the design and implementation of an aspect-oriented auditing solution that collects data from Servlet, JNDI, EJB and JDBC API code.
