Security Clearance Expo Participation
On December 6th, representatives from Near Infinity will be at the Security Clearance Expo in McLean, VA. Hurricane Katrina Relief Contribution
In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, we at Near Infinity Corporation would like to extend our heartfelt sympathies to all those who have been affected by this tragedy.
To show our support, Near Infinity has made a financial contribution to the relief effort to assist in the rebuilding of homes and lives in the gulf coast.
Near Infinity Assists Habitat for Humanity
Employees of Near Infinity Corporation gathered together on Saturday, September 10th to participate in a Habitat for Humanity workday at the Briarwood Chase subdivision in Vienna, VA.
This effort marked a special milestone for the Arlington chapter of Habitat for Humanity. The home at Briarwood trace is the 50th home being built by the chapter. To show direct support, Near Infinity joined the "50+50 Club." Club members offer their time to build the 50th house, and provide a monetary donation towards the building of the 100th house.
The day ended with a celebration picnic where volunteers were able to spend time with the Habitat staff, as well as many of the homeowners from the previous forty-nine homes built by the chapter.
Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Contributions
Near Infinity Corporation and our employees would like to extend our deepest sympathies to all of the individuals and families impacted by the widespread devastation from the earthquake and resulting tsunami in South Asia.
We have committed direct financial assistance to the American Red Cross to aid in the reconstruction and humanitarian efforts in that region. In addition, Near Infinity has initiated a gift matching program to extend the charitable contributions of our employees.
Near Infinity Employees to Speak at AOSD.05
Near Infinity employees Matt Wizeman and Jeff Kunkle will be presenting at the Fourth International Conference on Aspect-Oriented Software Development in Chicago, Illinois. The conference runs from March 14-18 and is the premier event entirely devoted to aspect-oriented technologies and practices, bringing together leading researchers and practitioners from all over the world to discuss the latest developments in the field.
Matt and Jeff will be presenting a practitioner's report discussing the use of aspect-oriented programming in developing a commercial J2EE auditing product soon to be released by Near Infinity.
